Me Alain Lortie
Born in Malartic and admitted to the Québec Bar in 1977, Me Lortie practised civil, banking, insurance and municipal law. However, it is in the field of labour law that he distinguished himself and earned an enviable reputation.
Me Lortie, a skilful negotiator, has concluded numerous major collective agreements on behalf of employers, for clients in a variety of fields of activities, including municipalities and mining companies. He has been involved in the arbitration of a number of grievances, either as a lawyer or assessor. Me Lortie has also acted as arbitrator in order to settle disputes under the Act respecting the Barreau du Québec, as well as in other areas of law, at the request of the parties involved in disputes.
He is currently counsel in our firm. Me Lortie, who is still actively practising law, now devotes his talents and expertise exclusively to labour law matters, focusing particularly on the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.
He continues to be a constant source of valuable advice and expertise to all members of our firm.
